Editing/Deleting Credited Leave

All the leaves credited to an employee can be viewed in the Credited Leave page. As an HR person, you can edit or delete the credited leaves for an employee.

To edit the credited leaves:

  1. On the HR menu, under Leave, click Credited Leave.

The Credited leave page appears.

  1. In the Employee text box, enter the employee name/employee ID or press SPACEBAR (on the keyboard) once to retrieve the list of employees and then select the employee from the list.

  2. In the Leave type drop-down box, select the type of leave for which you want to edit the details.

  3. Click the From date text box and on the calendar, select the date from when you want to view the leaves.

  4. Click the To date text box and on the calendar, select the date up to when you want to view the leaves.

  5. Click .

The leave details are displayed in a table as follows:

Displays the type of leave

Displays the date from when the leave is credited

Displays the date up to when the leave is credited

Credited leaves

Displays the number of leaves credited

Posted date

Displays the date on which the leave is credited

Comments

Displays the comments for the leave credit

Is opening balance

Displays whether there is any leave balance carried from the previous year

  1. Select the check box corresponding to the leave type which you want to edit and then click Edit.

The Edit Credited Leave dialog box appears.

  1. In the Credited leaves text box, enter the number of credited leaves.

  2. In the Comments text box, enter comments.

  3. To save the updates performed on the record, do one of the following:

Note:               To exit without editing the record, click Cancel.
