Approving or Rejecting Leave Applications of Team Members
You can approve or reject a leave application of your team member in the Approve/Reject leaves page.
If the team member has requested to cancel an approved leave, you can approve or reject the cancellation request.
To approve the leave application of a team member:
In the home page, do any of the following:
In the My To-Do List grid box, click Pending Leave Approval.
On the My Team menu, under Team Leaves, click Approve/Reject Leaves.
The Approve / reject leaves page appears, displaying the leave applications and leave cancellation requests of your team members.
View details of information displayed for leave records.
On the list of leave applications and cancellation requests, select the check box corresponding to the leave application that you want to approve and then click Approve.
The leave application is approved and the team member receives a notification regarding the approval.
The leave application record is removed from the list of records on the Approve/Reject leaves page.
To reject leave applications or leave cancellation applications:
On the Approve / reject leave page, select the check box corresponding to the leave application or cancellation request record that you want to reject and click Reject.
The Reject leave dialog box appears.
In the Comments text box, enter your comments regarding rejection.
Do any of the following:
To reject the application, click Reject.
To skip rejection of the current leave application and continue with the next leave application , click Skip.
The leave application or cancellation request is rejected and your team member receives an e-mail notification.
The leave application record is removed from the list of records on the Apply/Reject leaves page.
Note 1: When employees
have requested for leave or On duty or cancel request then mail intimation
will be sent to the reporting officer for the approval of the request.
Note 2: If the application is been approved / rejected in the mail then
the mail intimation will be sent to the employees about the approval/reject
application status.
Note 3: In the mail intimation, Approve/Reject button should be included,
so that the approver can take the action accordingly in the mail.
Note 4: If the employee raises the leave application, leave cancellation
or leave grant, then mail intimation will be sent to the reporting officer
for the approval or rejection of the request.
Note 5: If approver wants to view more details then they can click the
link provided in the mail. It will direct to the application and the approver
can logon and take the appropriate action.
Note 6: To exit without rejecting the leave application, click Cancel.
Note 7: indicates that
the record is a leave request.
Note 8: indicates that
the record is a request for approval of leave cancellation.
Note 9: indicates that
the record is a request for leave information. Click
to view the information of the dates against which the leave information
is taken.
