Approving a Team Member’s Resignation

When a team member submits resignation, as the reporting manager, you are required to either approve or reject the application. A notification is sent to you requesting your action on the resignation.

To approve resignation of a team member:

The Approve resignation page appears.

The details displayed in the Approve Resignation page are:

Pending from (in days)

Displays the time (in days) pending for the resignation

Displays the status of the exit feedback

Comment

Enter the comment under Comment text box

 

    1. Select the employee whose resignation has to be approved and click Approve to approve the separation request.

The resignation is approved. The resignation moves to the next stage in the process.

 

Note 1:    Click Reject to reject the resignation of your team member. The resignation is cancelled and the team member is notified.

Note 2:    Resignation Applied Date and Resignation Date cannot be different. A warning message appears if they are different.

Note 3:     indicates that the record is a resignation request.

Note 4:     indicates that the record is a request for approval of resignation withdrawal

Note 5:      indicates approved resignation

Note 6:      indicates rejected resignation
