Viewing Break Time Details
If your organization is tracking break time taken by employees, you can view the consolidated details of breaks taken by you for a specified date range in the My Break Details page.
Your break time is captured by your swipe-in and swipe-out records. Please note:
Every swipe-in and swipe-out is captured
Your first swipe of the day is considered as the log-in time.
Your last swipe for the day is considered as log-out time.
You receive an e-mail for every swipe-out or swipe-in.
The duration between each swipe-out and swipe-in is captured as break time (excluding the login and logout).
To view the consolidated report of your break time:
In the home page, do any of the following:
In the My Self grid box, click My Attendance.
On the My Self menu, under My Attendance, click My Break Details.
The My Break Details page appears.
Click the From Date text box and on the calendar that appears, click the date from when you want to view your break details.
Click the To Date text box and on the calendar that appears, click the date up to when you want to view your break details.
Note 1: Number
of days between From Date and
To Date cannot be greater than
31 days.
Note 2: Fields
marked * are mandatory and they cannot
be left blank.
Click Create Report.
All the records that match the specified search criterion are displayed.
The break time details displayed are:

Displays the date from when the break details are displayed |

Displays the date up to when the break details are shown |
Date |
Displays the actual date for which break details are displayed. Click the date to expand and view the details. |
Break In |
Displays the time you swiped-in on the corresponding date, after the first login. Every instance of swipe-in is displayed |
Break Out |
Displays the time you swiped-out on the corresponding date, before the last logout. Every instance of swipe-out is displayed. |
Number of Breaks |
Displays the total number of breaks taken on the corresponding day. |
Note 1: The
total number of pages that contain the result as well as the number of
the page you are currently on
is
displayed on the navigation bar. Use the arrows to navigate between pages.
Note 2: To
refresh the page, click .
To export the break time details:
On the navigation bar, click
and then click Excel, PDF or Word.
The attendance details are exported to a file in the selected format and the Open file dialog box appears.
Click the option you want and then click OK.
The file is opened or saved based on the selection.
To search for specific text in the results:
On the navigation bar, in the search text box, enter the text you want to search for and click Find.
The text is highlighted on the list of records.
Click Next.
The next occurrence of the entered text is highlighted.
