Submitting Resignation
To submit resignation:
On the My Self menu, under Separation, click Submit resignation.
The Submit resignation page appears.
Click Submit resignation.
The Resignation details dialog box appears.
Note 1: Once you submit the resignation, details in Employee, Notice period and Approver fields are
automatically displayed.
Note 2: The Applied date is automatically displayed as the current date. This is the date on which you have
applied the resignation.
Click the Resignation date text box, and on the calendar, select the date of resignation.
Note 1: The resignation date is the day from when your resignation is effective.
Note 2: Relieving date is the date you are relieved from your employment with the organization.
This date is arrived at by adding the notice period to the resignation date and is displayed automatically.
Note 3: The notice period is the number of days you have to serve after intimating the organization about
your resignation, and is pre-defined based on your role and designation.
In the Reason drop down list, select the reason for resignation.
In the Comment text box, enter the relevant comments for your resignation.
Click Apply.
The resignation is submitted and your reporting manager is notified. The manager should next take an action of approving or rejecting your resignation.
Note 1: Fields marked * are mandatory, and they cannot be left blank.
Note 2: To return to the previous window without submitting the resignation, click Cancel.
