Taking Action on Candidates Application

You can take an action on the candidate’s application at any point of time in the recruitment process. For example, you can cancel the candidate’s application, or put the application on hold if you want to process it at a later point of time, or complete the recruitment process to onboard the candidate.

To take an action on the candidate’s application:

The Action dialog box appears.

  1. In the Reasons drop-down box, select the reason for taking the action

  2. In the Comments text box, enter relevant comments

  3. Click Update.

The reason and comments are updated and the HR status changes to Cancelled.

The Action dialog box appears.

  1. In the Reasons drop-down box, select the reason for taking the action

  2. In the Comments text box, enter relevant comments

  3. Click Update.

The reason and comments are updated. The candidate’s application is placed on hold in the recruitment process. The icon changes to .

Note:               You can once again click  to once again include the candidate in the recruitment process.

The Action dialog box appears.

  1. In the Reasons drop-down box, select the reason for taking the action - Carry Forward, Completed or On Board.

  2. In the Comments text box, enter relevant comments

  3. Click Update.

The reason and comments are updated. The candidate’s application is again included in the recruitment process.

The Action dialog box appears.

  1. In the Reasons drop-down box, select the reason for taking the action

  2. In the Comments text box, enter relevant comments

  3. Click Update.

The reason and comments are updated. The candidate’s recruitment process is completed. The candidate can now be on boarded.
