Create Template
To create a new time sheet template
On the PW Admin menu, click See All.
Under Timesheet Management, click Template Management.
The Time Sheet Template page appears.
Click Create Template under Time Sheet Template.
Create Template page appears.
The page contains the list of all templates and their data respectively.
Enter the existing template name in the Template Name text box.
Click Search.
The details will be displayed in the grid.

Click Add to add new template details.
Add Template dialog box appears.
Enter the template name in the Template Name text box.
Enter the description of the template in the Template Description text box.
Click Active check box if you want the template to be set to active.
Perform the following steps:
Click Save and Continue to save the details and continue adding another template.
Click Save and Next to save the details and user will be redirected to the ‘Mapping Configurations’ page.
Click Cancel to exit from the dialog box without saving.
To edit the particular template details, select the required check box corresponding to the created template you want to edit and then click Edit button.
Edit Template page appears which consists of pre-populated details of the template.
Edit the template name in the Template Name text box.
Edit the description of the template in the Template Description text box.
Select the Active check box, if you want the template details to be set to active or else inactive the check box.
Perform the following steps:
Click Save and Close to save the details and close the dialog box.
Click Save and Next to save the details and user will be redirected to the ‘Mapping Configurations’ page.
Click Cancel to exit from the dialog box without saving.
Click Delete to delete the selected template details and the dialog box gets close.
To copy the template details, select the required check box corresponding to the created template you want to copy and then click Copy button.
Copy Template dialog box appears.
Enter the template name in the Template Name text box.
Enter the description of the template in the Template Description text box.
Click Active check box if you want the template to be set to active.
Perform the following steps:
Click Save and Close to save the details and close the dialog box.
This template is saved as a new template with the entered Template Name and other data as same as the copied template.
Click Save and Next to save the details and user will be redirected to the ‘Mapping Configurations’ page.
Click Cancel to exit from the dialog box without saving.
Click Delete to delete the selected template details and the dialog box gets close.
Click View link under Tree Structure column which consists of template hierarchy in the form of a tree structure.
Click View link under Organization mapping column which consists of template mapping in the form of a tree structure.
To change the number of templates being displayed, on the Created Template page, click the Show drop-down box and select the number of templates to be displayed.
Note 1: The () asterisk
symbol indicates that the template flow is incomplete i.e., the template
is not mapped.
Note 2: When ‘Add’ button is clicked, template name should
be within 50 characters and template description should be within 250
characters.
Note 3: If a template does not contain a ‘Tree structure’ the
‘View’ link would be grey in color else in blue where it will be clickable.
Note 4: The bread crumbs will be updated on creation and mapping
templates respectively.
To obtain the mapping configuration page, click Save and Next while adding, editing or copying a template.
