Configure Timesheet
To configure Timesheet
On the PW Admin menu, click See All.
Under Timesheet Management, click Template Management.
The Time Sheet Template page appears displaying the menu of Time Sheet Configuration.
Click Time Sheet Configuration.
The Time Sheet Configuration page appears.
Click Time Sheet tab to view the time sheet page.
In the ‘Time Sheet Exclusion’ section, perform the following steps:
Click Yes radio button to include time sheet exclusion or else click No radio button.
If ‘Yes’ is selected the Time Sheet Exclusion allows the users to view the various exclusion levels.
To include organization level in time sheet exclusion, select Organization Level radio button.
Under ‘Organization Level’ text box, press spacebar to select the organization level from the drop down list.
Click
icon to add the organization level from the list.
To view the excluded organization levels, click View link.
Excluded Organization Levels dialog box appears displaying the selected organization levels under Organization Levels column.
Select the required check box to include the excluded organization levels and click Include button.
Click Cancel to exit from the dialog box without saving.
Click Next to go to the next page.
Click Previous to go back to the previous page.
To change the number of organization levels being displayed, on the Excluded Organization Levels dialog box, click the Show drop-down box and select the number of organization levels to be displayed.
To include employee level in time sheet exclusion, select Employee Level radio button.
Under ‘Employee Level’ text box, press spacebar to select the employees name/ID from the drop down list.
Click
icon to add the employee from the list.
To view the excluded employee, click View link.
Excluded Employees dialog box appears.

Select the required check box to include the excluded employees and click Include button.
Click Cancel to exit from the dialog box without saving.
Click Next to go to the next page.
Click Previous to go back to the previous page.
To change the number of employees being displayed, on the Excluded Employees dialog box, click the Show drop-down box and select the number of employees to be displayed.
The Time Sheet Exclusion allows the user to view the exclusions according to the Organization Level or Employee Level.
In the ‘Time Sheet Entry Type’ section, perform the following steps:
Select Task Repository radio button so that the user can enter the task directly from the repository.
Select Free Text radio button so that the user can type the time sheet directly.
Under ‘Time Sheet Entry Frequency’,
Select Daily, Weekly or Monthly radio button so that the user can enter in the time sheet on the basis of time sheet entry frequency.
In ‘Allow Comments’ section, select Yes to allow employees to comment in the Time sheet or select click No to disallow.
In ‘Allow Quick Copy’ section, select Yes so that the previously entered Time Sheet data can be copied into the present Time Sheet Entry or else click No.
In ‘Set Minimum Hours’ section, perform the following steps:
Click Yes to set the minimum working hours on daily or weekly basis or else click No.
To set the minimum working hours on daily basis, select Daily.
Select the number of days/week under No of days/Week drop down box and enter hours or days in the Hrs/Day text box.
To set the minimum working hours on weekly basis, select Weekly radio button.
Select the number of days/week under No of days/Week drop down box and enter hours or week in the Hrs/Week text box.
In ‘Freeze Time Sheet’ section, perform the steps:
Click Yes to ‘Freeze Time Sheet’ or else click No.
The time sheet can be frozen on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. The time sheet will be frozen till the specified date and time.
To freeze the time on a daily basis, select Daily radio button and enter the number of hours/min in the text box.
To freeze the time on a weekly basis, select Weekly radio button.
Select the day from the Select drop down box and enter the number of hours/min in the text box.
To freeze the time on a monthly basis, select Monthly radio button.
Select the month from the Select drop down box and enter the number of hours/min in the text box.
Note: Only the Manager will have the access to edit the Time Sheet before the specified freeze time.
In ‘Lock Time Sheet’ section, perform the steps:
Select Yes to ‘Lock Time Sheet’ or else click No.
The user can lock the Time Sheet till a specified date.
Select the lock date from the Lock Date drop down box.
The Time Sheet will be frozen till this date.
Select the buffer date from the Buffer Date drop down box.
After the selection of the buffer date, the time sheet can be accessed.
Perform the following steps:
Click Save to save the changes made.
Click Save and Next to save the changes made and will be redirected to the ‘Approval’ page.
Click Reset to reset the configuration from the start.
