Employment Types
Employees are under different types of employment contracts based on various requirements or organization policies. For example: Permanent, part-time, probation, confirmed, contractual and so on.
As an administrator, you can view, add, edit, or delete the details of employment types in the Employment types page.
In case, the organization refers to employment contracts by a different name, you can include the name as an alias and the alias name is used for display wherever applicable on PeopleWorks.
To manage employment types:
On the PW Admin menu, under Nurture and Manage, click Employment Types.
The Employment Types page appears.
The employment type details displayed are:

Displays whether the employment type is active - Yes or No If active, the employment type is available for users to select wherever applicable on PeopleWorks, else it is not available |
If you want to add details of a new employment type, click Add, enter the required details and Save.
If you want to edit details of an existing employment type, select the check box corresponding to the employment type, click Edit, make the required changes and Save.
If you want to delete details of an existing employment type, select the check box corresponding to the employment type, click Delete and confirm.
Note: Ensure that you do not delete records that are mapped to any employee records or any other data on PeopleWorks.
If you want to use a different name for employment types on PeopleWorks, in the Alias text box, enter the alias name for employment type and click Update.
