ESI State Master

Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) is an integrated social security and health insurance scheme for Indian workers tailored to provide medical and cash benefits to the employees and their dependents through a large network of branch offices, dispensaries and hospitals throughout India.

As an administrator, you can view, add, edit or delete the ESI state registration details in the ESI State Master page.

In case, the organization refers to ESI state registration by a different name, you can include the name as an alias and the alias name is used for display wherever applicable on PeopleWorks.

Description

State

Displays the name of the state. This appears in statutory reports and other reports

ESI Registration

Displays the ESI registration number of the selected state. This is allotted through concerned regulatory bodies. This appears in statutory reports

Description

Displays any reasoning or information pertaining to the ESI registration, only for reference

Active

Displays whether the ESI State  is active - Yes or No

If active, the ESI State  is available for users to select wherever applicable on PeopleWorks, else it is not available

Note:    Ensure that you do not delete records that are mapped to any employee records or any other data on PeopleWorks.

Note:     Fields marked with * are mandatory and cannot be left blank, system will not allow the user to save the page if any of the mandatory fields are not entered.
