Assets

The company provides some assets for employees to use in their service tenure. For example, laptop, mobile phones, cars. As an administrator, you can add the all the assets that can be provided to employees by the organization. The assets information is tracked for employees on PeopleWorks under the Employment Details->Organization assets sub menu.

 In case, the organization refers to assets by a different name, you can include the referred name as an alias and the alias name is used for display wherever applicable on PeopleWorks.

To manage asset details:

The Assets page appears.

The Asset details displayed are:

Asset details

Field

Description

Name

Displays the name of the asset

Description

Displays the description of the asset

Active

Displays whether the asset is active - Yes or No

If active, the asset is available for the users to select wherever applicable on PeopleWorks, else it is not available

Note:    Ensure that you do not delete records that are mapped to any employee records or any other data on PeopleWorks.
