Configuring Event
You can configure email templates for different events. Events are predefined in the application with its type Triggered/Scheduled. Available events are such as Apply Resignation, Birthday, and Broadcast E-mail etc.
As an Admin, you can have an option to define the notification when there is a change in separation approver (s), so that, you can define the exception approver (s) if you need.
To configure the event:
On the PW Admin menu, under E-mail configuration, click Configure event.
The Event page appears.
To configure the event, select the Configure link under the Event column to trigger the email.
The respective event page appears.
In the From text box, enter the sender name.
To keep the event active, select the Active text box.
To add the event details, click Add.
The Add Event Details dialog box appears.
In the Template name text box, enter the template name.
In the To text box, enter recipients name.
To send carbon copy, in the CC text box, enter the recipient name.
To send blind carbon copy, in the BCC text box, enter the recipient name.
Click Save & close to save the entered details and close the page.
Click Save & continue to save and continue adding the event details.
Click Save.
The event details is added.
Note 1: Fields
marked * are mandatory and cannot
be left blank.
Note 2: To
return to the previous page without making changes, click Cancel.
Note 3: New event Welcome email is configured in the configure event page.
Welcome mail is an email automatically sent to the new employee(s) when
they join the organization. Under “To” text box, “New Joiners” should
be created. When user selects the new joiners an automatic email is triggered
to the employee(s).
