Initiating Transfer Request

To initiate a transfer request:

    1. On the My Team menu, under Transfer, click Transfer employees.

The Transfer employees page opens.

    1. In the Move employees section, do one of the following steps to select the employee.

Note:    You can choose one or more criteria to search employees.

The name of the searched employees appear in the Employees list box.

    1. In the Employee list section, click the employee/employees to be transferred.

The name of the employee/employees appear in the Selected employees section. The number of employees selected for transfer is also displayed.

    1. In the Move to section, in the Reporting Officer text box, press SPACEBAR (on the keyboard) once and select the reporting officer from the list.

The department, division, city and branch gets auto populated.

Note:    To modify the auto populated department, division, city and branch name, press and then enter the department, division, and branch name in the respective text box.

    1. In the Approver text box, press SPACEBAR (on the keyboard) once and select the approver from the list.

Note 1:  To view the final approver for the transfer, click View Final Approver.

Note 2:   To view the reportees who are currently reporting to the employee being transferred, click View Reportees.

Note 3:   To transfer the whole team reporting to the employee being transferred, check Move with team check box.

    1. In the Effective date text box, select the date range.

    2. In the Reason For Transfer drop down box, select the reason for transfer.

    3. In the Comment text box, enter the comment.

    4. Click Move.

A confirmation dialog box appears, displaying the details of the transfer request.

    1. Click Accept.

The transfer request is accepted and appears in the Approve employee transfer page for approval.

Note 1:   To discard the transfer request, click Discard.

Note 2:   All fields marked * are mandatory and cannot be left blank.
