Initiating Transfer Request
To initiate a transfer request:
On the HR menu, under Transfer, click Transfer employees.
The Transfer employees page opens.
Under the Move employees section, perform one of the following steps to filter employees:
Note: You can choose one or more criteria to search employees.
In the Department text box, press SPACEBAR (on the keyboard) once or enter the first few letters of the department and select the department from the list.
In the Reporting Officer text box, press SPACEBAR (on the keyboard) or enter the first few letters of the employee name or employee ID and select the reporting officer’s name from the list.
In the Process text box, press SPACEBAR (on the keyboard) once or enter the first few letters of the process and select the process from the list.
In the Division text box, press SPACEBAR (on the keyboard) once or enter the first few letters of the division and select the division from the list.
In the Branch text box, press SPACEBAR (on the keyboard) once or enter the first few letters of the branch and select the branch from the list.
In the Employee text box, press SPACEBAR (on the keyboard) once or enter the first few letters of the employee name or employee ID and select the employee from the list.
Click Search.
The names of the searched employees appear in the Employees list box.
In the Employee list box, click the employee/employees name whom you want to transfer
The names of the employee/employees appear in the Selected employees section. The number of employees selected for transfer is also displayed.
In the Move to section, perform one of the following steps:
In the Department text box, press SPACEBAR (on the keyboard) once or enter the first few letters of the department and select the department from the list.
In the Reporting Officer text box, press SPACEBAR (on the keyboard) or enter the first few letters of the employee name or employee ID and select the reporting officer’s name from the list.
The department, division, and branch get auto populated.
In the Process text box, press SPACEBAR (on the keyboard) once or enter the first few letters of the process and select the process from the list.
In the Division text box, press SPACEBAR (on the keyboard) once or enter the first few letters of the division and select the division from the list.
In the City text box, press SPACEBAR (on the keyboard) once or enter the first few letters of the city and select the cities from the list
In the Branch text box, press SPACEBAR (on the keyboard) once or enter the first few letters of the branch and select the branch from the list.
In the Approver text box, press SPACEBAR (on the keyboard) once or enter the first few letters of the employee name or employee ID and select the employee from the list.
Note: To
reset the reporting officer details, click .
To view the final approver for the transfer, click View Final Approver.
The Final Approver dialog box appears displaying the final approver for the transfer.
To view the reportees who are currently reporting to the employee being transferred, click View Reportees.
To transfer the whole team reporting to the employee being transferred, check Move with team check box.
In the Effective date text box, select the date from when the transfer is effective.
In the Reason for Transfer drop down box, enter any relevant comments.
In the Comment text box, enter any relevant comments.
Click Move.
A confirmation dialog box appears, displaying the details of the transfer request.
Click Accept.
The transfer request is accepted and appears in the Approve employee transfer page for approval.
Note 1: To
discard the transfer request, click Discard.
Note 2: All
fields marked * are mandatory and
cannot be left blank.
