Reset Password

As an administrator you can reset password for the employees. Employees will request for the password reset through Query module.

To view and configure connect:

    1. In the PW Admin menu, under Configuration, click Reset Password.

The Reset Password page opens.

There are four options to reset password which can be selected from the filter type drop down box.

    1.  In the Filter Type drop down box, select All Employee.

    2. Click Search.

The details will be displayed under Search Result section.

Field

Description

Employee ID

Displays the id of the employee

Employee Name

Displays the name of the employee

Division

Displays the division of the employee

Department

Displays the department of the employee

Designation

Displays the designation of the employee

Location

Displays the location from where the employee belongs to

Band

Displays the band of the employee

Process

Displays the process from where the employee belongs to.

 

    1. Select a record and click Reset Password.

        A confirmation message appears.

Note 1:           If the admin selects “Yes” then the default password will be set to the selected employees and the employees will receive an email notification in their e-mail ids.

Note 2:           If “No” is selected then it will return back to the previous screen.

The details will be displayed in the grid under Search Result section.

      1. Select a record and click Reset Password.

                    A confirmation message appears.

The details will be displayed under Search Result section.

Note 1:        To include an attribute, select the corresponding check box from the drop down box.    

Note 2:        To include all attributes, click Check All.

Note 3:        To exclude all included attributes, click Uncheck All.

Note 4:        To exclude a specific attribute, clear the corresponding check box.

      1. Select Upload Employees from the Filter Type drop down box.

      2. Click Download to download the Reset Password Employee Details excel file in the system.

        • Enter the Employee ID in the downloaded template.

      3. Click Choose File, browse and select the file to upload.

      1. Click Upload.

        • The uploaded file will be shown in the hyperlink and the Upload button will be removed.

Uploaded employees list will be displayed in the grid.

      1. Click Reset Password for the employees uploaded.

Note 1:       User cannot upload more than 1 file. If user tries to re upload then existing file will be modified.    

Note 2:       User can upload only .xls or .xlsx file in the system.
