Cost Center

Sometimes organizations may be divided as Cost Centers.

The information of the cost centers the organization is divided into is used where applicable on PeopleWorks

As an administrator, you can view, add, edit or delete the details of cost centers in the Cost centers page.

In case, the organization refers to cost centers by a different name, you can include the name as an alias and the alias name is used for display wherever applicable on PeopleWorks.

To manage cost center details:

The Cost Center page appears.

The cost center details displayed are:

Cost center details

Field

Description

Name

Displays the name of the cost center

Description

Displays the description for the cost center

Active

Displays whether the cost center is active - Yes or No

If active, the cost center is available for users to select wherever applicable on PeopleWorks, else it is not available

Note:               Ensure that you do not delete records that are mapped to any employee records or any other
                     data on PeopleWorks.
