Cost Center
Sometimes organizations may be divided as Cost Centers.
The information of the cost centers the organization is divided into is used where applicable on PeopleWorks
As an administrator, you can view, add, edit or delete the details of cost centers in the Cost centers page.
In case, the organization refers to cost centers by a different name, you can include the name as an alias and the alias name is used for display wherever applicable on PeopleWorks.
To manage cost center details:
On the PW Admin menu, under Nurture and Manage, click Cost Centers.
The Cost Center page appears.
The cost center details displayed are:

Displays whether the cost center is active - Yes or No If active, the cost center is available for users to select wherever applicable on PeopleWorks, else it is not available |
If you want to add details of a new cost center, click Add, enter the required details and Save.
If you want to edit details of an existing cost center, select the check box corresponding to the cost center, click Edit, make the required changes and Save.
If you want to delete details of an existing cost center, select the check box corresponding to the cost center, click Delete and confirm.
Note: Ensure that you do not delete records that are mapped to any employee records or any other
data on PeopleWorks.
If you want to use a different name for cost centers on PeopleWorks, in the Alias text box, enter the alias name for cost center and click Update.
