Adding Permission Templates
To add permission template:
On the PW Admin menu, under Manage permission, click Permission template.
The Permission Template page appears.
Click Add.
The Add Permission Template dialog box appears.
In the Template name text box, enter the name of the template.
In the Description text box, enter the description of the permission template.
In the Copy template drop-down box, select the template that you want to copy to the current template.
In the Custom query text box, enter the query.
In the Permission box, select the required permissions for the template:
To assign a particular permission, select the corresponding check box under Allow column.
Note: Manage permission allow viewing, adding, editing and deleting the respective information.
To assign the right to view the self information, select the check box under Self column.
To assign the right to view the respective information of all the employees of organization, select the check box under All column.
To assign the right to view the respective information of all team members/reportees, select the check box under Below column.
To apply the custom query written in particular permission template, select the check box under Custom column corresponding to that particular page.
Note: Custom check box will be applicable if there is any custom query written in a particular permission template.
By selecting the Custom check box corresponding to a particular page the custom query will be applicable.
Click Save.
The permission template is added.
Note: Fields marked * are mandatory, and they cannot be blank.
Note: To return to the previous page without making changes, click Cancel.
If you want to edit an existing permission template, select the check box corresponding to the permission template. Click Edit, make the required changes and save.
If you want to delete an existing permission template, select the check box corresponding to the permission template. Click Delete and confirm.
