Generating Employee ID

To generate employee ID:

  1. On the PW Admin menu, under Configuration rules, click Employee ID generation.

The Employee ID generation page appears.

  1. In the Employee type drop-down box, select the employee type to generate employee id.

  2. In the Suffix text box, enter the suffix that you want add to each employee id.

  3. In the Prefix text box, enter the prefix that you want add to each employee id.

  4. Perform one of the following steps:

  5. To generate employee id automatically, select Automated employee ID.

  6. In the First employee ID text box, enter the employee id number from which auto generation of employee id number should start.

  7. In the Increment next ID by text box, enter the value by which next employee id number should increment.

  8. To generate employee id manual, select Manual Employee ID.

  1. Click Save.

The standard format to generate employee id is created.

Note 1:            Fields marked * are mandatory, and they cannot be blank.

Note 2:            To return to the previous page without making changes, click Cancel.

Note 3:            Settings made here replicate while adding or deleting employees in Admin sub menu.
