Initiating Transfer Request

To initiate a transfer request:

  1. On the HR menu, under Transfer, click Transfer employees.

The Transfer employees page opens.

  1. Under the Move employees section, perform one of the following steps to filter employees:

Note:                You can choose one or more criteria to search employees.

  1. Click Search.

The names of the searched employees appear in the Employees list box.

  1. In the Employee list box, click the employee/employees name whom you want to transfer

The names of the employee/employees appear in the Selected employees section. The number of employees selected for transfer is also displayed.

  1. In the Move to section, perform one of the following steps:

  2. In the Department text box, press SPACEBAR (on the keyboard) once or enter the first few letters of the department and select the department from the list.

  3. In the Reporting Officer text box, press SPACEBAR (on the keyboard) or enter the first few letters of the employee name or employee ID and select the reporting officer’s name from the list.

The department, division, and branch get auto populated.

Note:                To reset the reporting officer details, click .

The Final Approver dialog box appears displaying the final approver for the transfer.

  1. In the Effective date text box, select the date from when the transfer is effective.

  2. In the Comment text box, enter any relevant comments.

  3. Click Move.

A confirmation dialog box appears, displaying the details of the transfer request.

  1. Click Accept.

The transfer request is accepted and appears in the Approve employee transfer page for approval.

Note 1:             To discard the transfer request, click Discard.

Note 2:             All fields marked * are mandatory and cannot be left blank.
