Template Hierarchy
In template hierarchy page, the user can define the hierarchy of a template. It consists of the template and the parent of that hierarchy respectively.
To view Template Hierarchy
On the PW Admin menu, click See All.
Under Timesheet Management, click Template Management.
The Time Sheet Template page appears.
Click Template Hierarchy under Time Sheet Template.
Template Hierarchy page appears.
The other two alternative ways to obtain template hierarchy are:
To obtain the Template Hierarchy page, click Save and Next in the ‘Mapping Configuration’ page.
Click Template Hierarchy through selecting on bread crumbs at the top.
Template Hierarchy page appears.
Select the template from the Choose Template drop down box.
Template name will be displayed in the Template Name text box.
The details will be displayed in the grid.

Click Add to add a new hierarchy by selecting a template.
Add Hierarchy dialog box appears.
Enter the name of the template hierarchy in the Template Hierarchy Name text box.
Select the parent/root from the Select Parent/Root drop down box.
Select the Is Root check box, if this is the first hierarchy that is getting added.
Perform the following steps:
Click Save and Continue to save the details and continue adding another hierarchy.
Click Save and Next to save the details and the user will be redirected to the ‘Add Fields’ page.
Click Cancel to exit from the dialog box without saving.
Note: Template Hierarchy Name and Parent Root fields are mandatory. Template Hierarchy Name should be within 50 characters.
To edit the template hierarchy details, select the required check box corresponding to the template hierarchy and then click Edit button.
Edit Hierarchy dialog box appears.
Edit the name of the template hierarchy in the Template Hierarchy Name text box.
Perform the following steps:
Click Save and Close to save the details and close the dialog box.
Click Save and Next to save the details and the user will be redirected to the ‘Add Fields’ page.
Click Cancel to exit from the dialog box without saving.
Click Delete to delete the edit hierarchy details and the dialog box will get close.
